This artwork by Rajendra Dhawan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2018. In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,008.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rajendra Dhawan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Repetitive Breathing sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rajendra Dhawan erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.008,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rajendra Dhawan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Repetitive Breathing im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81).
