Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Rajendra Dhawan was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May last year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,394.00 (€ 2,816.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Rajendra Dhawan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Repetitive Breathing in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rajendra Dhawan kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.394,00 (€ 2.816,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rajendra Dhawan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Repetitive Breathing im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81).
