This artwork by Rajendra Dhawan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May 2008. In the Indian Art auction, the work Repetitive Breathing sold for GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. This high result makes Repetitive Breathing the most expensive artwork by Rajendra Dhawan that we have observed at auctions so far.
