Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online, which included the work Still Life by Rafiee Ghani. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,574.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rafiee Ghani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Beginning Of The Red Sea in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 38,361.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life von Rafiee Ghani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.574,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafiee Ghani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Beginning Of The Red Sea im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 38.361,63).
