Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online, which included the work No Love Beyond The Black Hills by Rafiee Ghani. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,577.54). Admittedly, works by Rafiee Ghani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Beginning Of The Red Sea in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 38,361.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit No Love Beyond The Black Hills von Rafiee Ghani zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.577,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafiee Ghani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Beginning Of The Red Sea im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 38.361,63).
