Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Thief'S Garden Has No Butterflies by Rafiee Ghani was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,671.48). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rafiee Ghani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Beginning Of The Red Sea , which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 38,361.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Thief'S Garden Has No Butterflies von Rafiee Ghani kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.671,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Rafiee Ghani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Beginning Of The Red Sea beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 38.361,63) versteigert wurde.
