The work Vue Surplombant Cadaquès by Rafael Durancamps was sold in the Art du XXe siècle auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2018. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,200.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Rafael Durancamps have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Capea in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 50,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vue Surplombant Cadaquès von Rafael Durancamps wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Art du XXe siècle bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.200,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafael Durancamps auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Capea im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.400,00.
