The work Manzanas by Rafael Durancamps was sold in the IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN ART auction at Christies in London in April 2005. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,768.96), 32% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Rafael Durancamps have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Capea in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 50,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Manzanas von Rafael Durancamps wurde im April 2005 in der Auktion IMPRESSIONIST AND MODERN ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.768,96) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafael Durancamps auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Capea im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.400,00.
