This price was achieved in the auction Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Basoeki Abdullah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gunung Salak (Mountain Salak) in May 2006 with an auction result of HKD 900,000.00 (€ 90,399.75).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Basoeki Abdullah erzielen.
