Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Balinese Lady by Basoeki Abdullah was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 51,200.00 (€ 6,191.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Basoeki Abdullah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gunung Salak (Mountain Salak) in May 2006 with an auction result of HKD 900,000.00 (€ 90,399.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Balinese Lady von Basoeki Abdullah kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 51.200,00 (€ 6.191,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Basoeki Abdullah erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gunung Salak (Mountain Salak) im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 900.000,00 (€ 90.399,75).
