The work Lake by Basoeki Abdullah was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,498.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Other works by Basoeki Abdullah have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 900,000.00 (€ 90,399.75) in May 2006 for the work Gunung Salak (Mountain Salak).
