Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Qiu Zhijie could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Who Was The Luckiest?-Homage To H.C. Anderson changed hands for HKD 17,500.00 (€ 1,970.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Zhijie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 30 Letters To Qiu Jiawa L22 - Beyond sky there is sky, within the sea there is sea L23 - An exit from a tunnel is not always only where the light is L24 - In their contests, you do not have to become a winner in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qiu Zhijie konnte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Who Was The Luckiest?-Homage To H.C. Anderson für HKD 17.500,00 (€ 1.970,53) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Zhijie erzielen.
