Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Interpretation of Chinese Characters – Fish & Bird by Qiu Zhijie for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,867.04). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Zhijie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 30 Letters To Qiu Jiawa L22 - Beyond sky there is sky, within the sea there is sea L23 - An exit from a tunnel is not always only where the light is L24 - In their contests, you do not have to become a winner in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Interpretation of Chinese Characters – Fish & Bird von Qiu Zhijie für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.867,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Zhijie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 30 Letters To Qiu Jiawa L22 - Beyond sky there is sky, within the sea there is sea L23 - An exit from a tunnel is not always only where the light is L24 - In their contests, you do not have to become a winner im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 182.785,03).
