Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Eighteen Buddhist Monks Series by Qiu Zhijie for HKD 13,860.00 (€ 1,660.92). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 22,000.00 – 42,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Zhijie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 30 Letters To Qiu Jiawa L22 - Beyond sky there is sky, within the sea there is sea L23 - An exit from a tunnel is not always only where the light is L24 - In their contests, you do not have to become a winner in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Eighteen Buddhist Monks Series von Qiu Zhijie für HKD 13.860,00 (€ 1.660,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 22.000,00 – 42.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Zhijie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 30 Letters To Qiu Jiawa L22 - Beyond sky there is sky, within the sea there is sea L23 - An exit from a tunnel is not always only where the light is L24 - In their contests, you do not have to become a winner im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 182.785,03).
