This artwork by Qiu Zhijie achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in September last year. In the Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers auction, the work Copy Orchard Pavilion Preface 1000 Times, 1990-1995 sold for EUR 10,710.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Zhijie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 30 Letters To Qiu Jiawa L22 - Beyond sky there is sky, within the sea there is sea L23 - An exit from a tunnel is not always only where the light is L24 - In their contests, you do not have to become a winner in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).

In der Auktion Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers wurde die Arbeit Copy Orchard Pavilion Preface 1000 Times, 1990-1995 für EUR 10.710,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Zhijie erzielen.
