Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work The Countdown of 3000 A.D. by Qiu Zhijie for HKD 10,625.00 (€ 1,216.03). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 16,000.00 – 24,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Zhijie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 30 Letters To Qiu Jiawa L22 - Beyond sky there is sky, within the sea there is sea L23 - An exit from a tunnel is not always only where the light is L24 - In their contests, you do not have to become a winner in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Countdown of 3000 A.D. von Qiu Zhijie für HKD 10.625,00 (€ 1.216,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 16.000,00 – 24.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Zhijie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 30 Letters To Qiu Jiawa L22 - Beyond sky there is sky, within the sea there is sea L23 - An exit from a tunnel is not always only where the light is L24 - In their contests, you do not have to become a winner im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 182.785,03).
