Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tattoo 1, 1994 by Qiu Zhijie was sold in the Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers auction at Christies in Paris in September last year. The price achieved of EUR 4,032.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Zhijie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 30 Letters To Qiu Jiawa L22 - Beyond sky there is sky, within the sea there is sea L23 - An exit from a tunnel is not always only where the light is L24 - In their contests, you do not have to become a winner in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tattoo 1, 1994 von Qiu Zhijie wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.032,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Zhijie erzielen.
