Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dictionary Series - Bamboo by Qiu Zhijie was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,170.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Zhijie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 30 Letters To Qiu Jiawa L22 - Beyond sky there is sky, within the sea there is sea L23 - An exit from a tunnel is not always only where the light is L24 - In their contests, you do not have to become a winner in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 182,785.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dictionary Series - Bamboo von Qiu Zhijie wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.170,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Zhijie erzielen.
