Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait by Qiu Yacai was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 51,140.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 380,000.00 – 550,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qiu Yacai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Model(Painted In 1993), which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 1,534,000.00 (€ 168,834.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait von Qiu Yacai kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 51.140,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 380.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Qiu Yacai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Model(Painted In 1993) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 1.534.000,00 (€ 168.834,82) versteigert wurde.
