Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Qiu Shihua was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,562.18). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qiu Shihua - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wooded Pasture, which sold at auction in November 2006 for USD 138,000.00 (€ 104,064.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Qiu Shihua kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.562,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Qiu Shihua mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wooded Pasture beobachtet, die im November 2006 für USD 138.000,00 (€ 104.064,55) versteigert wurde.
