Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Qiu Shihua was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 54,050.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Other works by Qiu Shihua have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2006 the work Wooded Pasture was auctioned for USD 138,000.00 (€ 104,064.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Qiu Shihua wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 54.050,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Qiu Shihua konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2006 die Arbeit Wooded Pasture für USD 138.000,00 (€ 104.064,55) versteigert.
