Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape In White by Qiu Shihua was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 22,089.04), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Qiu Shihua have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wooded Pasture in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 138,000.00 (€ 104,064.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape In White von Qiu Shihua kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 22.089,04) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qiu Shihua auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wooded Pasture im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.000,00 (€ 104.064,55).
