Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work I Am Not The Girl Who Misses Much, 1986/95 by Pipilotti Rist for CHF 16,800.00 (€ 13,692.14). This price was achieved in the auction Swiss Art Sale at Christies in Zurich and was even below the estimate range of CHF 18,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Pipilotti Rist have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bar in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 80,750.00 (€ 127,998.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit I Am Not The Girl Who Misses Much, 1986/95 von Pipilotti Rist für CHF 16.800,00 (€ 13.692,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Swiss Art Sale bei Christies in Zürich erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pipilotti Rist auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bar im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.750,00 (€ 127.998,69).
