Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Piotr Uklański was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,888.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piotr Uklański achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Nazis in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 848,642.61).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Piotr Uklański wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.888,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piotr Uklański erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Nazis im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 848.642,61).
