A top price for Pierre Louis Maurice Courtin - as previously expected
In September 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Mid Season Prints, which included the work Figures Et Colonnes (Riviere 336) by Pierre Louis Maurice Courtin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,494.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Figures Et Colonnes (Riviere 336) is the most expensive artwork by Pierre Louis Maurice Courtin that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im September 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Mid Season Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures Et Colonnes (Riviere 336) von Pierre Louis Maurice Courtin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.125,00 (€ 1.494,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
