Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selected Images (from 'Dressed For Thrills') by Phyllis Galembo was sold in the Dance of Death auction at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,048.00 (€ 1,877.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Phyllis Galembo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work Egungun, Bohican, Benin, 2006 was auctioned for USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,576.84).

Die Arbeit Selected Images (from 'Dressed For Thrills') von Phyllis Galembo wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Dance of Death bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.048,00 (€ 1.877,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
