Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,276.00 (€ 3,099.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Phyllis Galembo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work Egungun, Bohican, Benin, 2006 was auctioned for USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,576.84).

Die Arbeit Ekpeyong Edet Dance Group, Nigeria, 2005 von Phyllis Galembo wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion A Century of Art: Photographs from The Gerald Fineberg Collection bei Christies in London versteigert.
