Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Phyllida Barlow was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April 2019. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,979.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Phyllida Barlow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work untitled: hiddenupturnedhouse in December last year with an auction result of USD 30,240.00 (€ 28,266.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Phyllida Barlow wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.979,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Phyllida Barlow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit untitled: hiddenupturnedhouse im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.240,00 (€ 28.266,97).
