Auction result misses estimated price range
In January last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled: Dog Door by Phyllida Barlow for GBP 756.00 (€ 906.16). This price was achieved in the auction Evening & Day Editions at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Phyllida Barlow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work untitled: hiddenupturnedhouse in December last year with an auction result of USD 30,240.00 (€ 28,266.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled: Dog Door von Phyllida Barlow für GBP 756,00 (€ 906,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Phyllida Barlow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit untitled: hiddenupturnedhouse im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.240,00 (€ 28.266,97).
