However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Cognée - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanité No. 6, which sold at auction in October 2021 for EUR 37,500.00.

Die Arbeit Au cinéma avec Olivier von Philippe Cognée kam im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 16.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Philippe Cognée mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vanité No. 6 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für EUR 37.500,00 versteigert wurde.
