In the The Collection of the Late John Appleby: A Channel Island Treasure House auction, the work The Cortège of Her Majesty passing the Royal Square, on 3rd September 1846; A Triumphal arch in Gloucester Street; Her Majesty's progress through Broad Street; and Lieutenant-Colonel Dixon presenting the Visitor's book to Her Majesty sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,286.25) - well above Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip John Ouless achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View taken from under South Hill, St Helier, Jersey in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 57,650.00 (€ 68,891.66).
