This work without title by Philip Guston was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in London in September this year. It achieved a price of USD 107,100.00 (€ 101,190.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Guston achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Strong Light in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 24,393,000.00 (€ 21,611,588.55).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Philip Guston wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 101.190,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Guston erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Strong Light im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.393.000,00 (€ 21.611.588,55).
