The work De Kooning's "Woman with Bicycle" by Peter Saul was auctioned at Christies in New York in November this year. It achieved a price of USD 214,200.00 (€ 196,369.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Saul - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Human Dignity, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 819,000.00 (€ 768,725.36).

Die Arbeit De Kooning's "Woman with Bicycle" von Peter Saul kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 214.200,00 (€ 196.369,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Saul mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Human Dignity beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 819.000,00 (€ 768.725,36) versteigert wurde.
