Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mondo Cane by Peter Nagy was sold in the 80s auction at Phillips in New York in December 2010. The price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 942.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Nagy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reliquiario del tempo in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 3,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mondo Cane von Peter Nagy wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion 80s bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 942,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Nagy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reliquiario del tempo im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.900,00.
