Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Excelsior by Peter Nagy for GBP 940.00 (€ 1,519.18). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art and Photoworks at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Nagy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reliquiario del tempo, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 3,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Excelsior von Peter Nagy für GBP 940,00 (€ 1.519,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art and Photoworks bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Nagy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reliquiario del tempo beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 3.900,00 versteigert wurde.
