Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sign of Malignancy by Peter Nagy was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in November 2007. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Nagy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reliquiario del tempo, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 3,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sign of Malignancy von Peter Nagy wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Nagy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reliquiario del tempo beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 3.900,00 versteigert wurde.
