Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Untitled (11.23.04.2) by Peter Halley. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,525.00 (€ 9,013.06), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Halley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow Cell With Triple Conduit in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 513,000.00 (€ 584,078.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (11.23.04.2) von Peter Halley zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.525,00 (€ 9.013,06) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Halley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow Cell With Triple Conduit im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 513.000,00 (€ 584.078,81).
