The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,345.47), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Alexander achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (turquoise triangle), circa 1970s in September last year with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 56,219.97).

Die Arbeit Gardena, from Barcelona Portfolio von Peter Alexander wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.345,47) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Alexander erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (turquoise triangle), circa 1970s im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 56.219,97).
