Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Christies in New York held the auction A Century of Art: The Gerald Fineberg Collection Part II, which included this untitled work by Peter Alexander. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 56,700.00 (€ 53,219.45). Other works by Peter Alexander have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 55,000.00 (€ 56,219.97) in September last year for the work Untitled (turquoise triangle), circa 1970s.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion A Century of Art: The Gerald Fineberg Collection Part II durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Alexander zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 56.700,00 (€ 53.219,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Peter Alexander haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 56.219,97) im September letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Untitled (turquoise triangle), circa 1970s beobachtet.
