Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Perle Fine achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2017. In the MANHATTA auction, the work #8 Gridiron sold for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,316.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Perle Fine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Far Side of a Thought, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 50,400.00 (€ 47,619.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Perle Fine erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion MANHATTA wurde die Arbeit #8 Gridiron für USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.316,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Perle Fine mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Far Side of a Thought beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für USD 50.400,00 (€ 47.619,05) versteigert wurde.
