It achieved a price of USD 12,065.00 (€ 10,948.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Admittedly, works by Perle Fine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Far Side of a Thought in September this year with an auction result of USD 50,400.00 (€ 47,619.05).

Die Arbeit Untitled from the Cool Series von Perle Fine kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 12.065,00 (€ 10.948,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Perle Fine auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Far Side of a Thought im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 47.619,05).
