Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Accordment #80 by Perle Fine was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 25,600.00 (€ 23,469.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Perle Fine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Far Side of a Thought, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 50,400.00 (€ 47,619.05).

Die Arbeit An Accordment #80 von Perle Fine wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.600,00 (€ 23.469,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Perle Fine mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Far Side of a Thought beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für USD 50.400,00 (€ 47.619,05) versteigert wurde.
