Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,814.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Percy Wyndham Lewis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red portrait in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 39,950.00 (€ 63,325.67).
