In April 2019 Christies in London held the auction Modern | British & Irish Art, which included the work Ronald Firbank by Percy Wyndham Lewis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,525.62), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Percy Wyndham Lewis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red portrait in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 39,950.00 (€ 63,325.67).

Im April 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern | British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ronald Firbank von Percy Wyndham Lewis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.525,62) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Percy Wyndham Lewis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red portrait im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 39.950,00 (€ 63.325,67).
