In November 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Evening Auction, which included the work Circus Scene by Percy Wyndham Lewis. The result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 58,995.08) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Percy Wyndham Lewis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2000 the work Red portrait was auctioned for GBP 39,950.00 (€ 63,325.67).

Im November 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Circus Scene von Percy Wyndham Lewis zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 58.995,08) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Percy Wyndham Lewis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2000 die Arbeit Red portrait für GBP 39.950,00 (€ 63.325,67) versteigert.
