The work Cabezas Azules by Pedro Coronel was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. The result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,039.27) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pedro Coronel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Año 1 luna in March this year with an auction result of USD 693,000.00 (€ 637,417.22).

Die Arbeit Cabezas Azules von Pedro Coronel kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.039,27) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pedro Coronel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Año 1 luna im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 693.000,00 (€ 637.417,22).
