Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three graces by Pavel Chmaroff was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 14,002.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pavel Chmaroff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Bathers, which sold at auction in December 2009 for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 39,312.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three graces von Pavel Chmaroff kam im November 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 14.002,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pavel Chmaroff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Bathers beobachtet, die im Dezember 2009 für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 39.312,03) versteigert wurde.
