Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work View Of A Lake by Pavel Chmaroff. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,675.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pavel Chmaroff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Bathers in December 2009 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 39,312.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Of A Lake von Pavel Chmaroff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.675,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pavel Chmaroff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Bathers im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 39.312,03).
