A top price for Pavel Chmaroff
In December 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings Day Sale, which included the work The Bathers by Pavel Chmaroff. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 34,850.00 (€ 39,312.03), 16% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Bathers is even the most expensive work of art by Pavel Chmaroff that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Pavel Chmaroff
Im Dezember 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Bathers von Pavel Chmaroff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 39.312,03) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Bathers sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pavel Chmaroff, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
