The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,510.96) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pavel Chmaroff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Bathers, which sold at auction in December 2009 for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 39,312.03).
